Former cricketer slams management for mishandling Shaheen’s alleged misconduct

Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for mishandling the situation involving Shaheen Afridi's alleged misconduct. Shaheen Afridi, Pakistan's star fast bowler, has faced allegations of misbehavior with the coaching staff, including head coach Gary Kirsten, during the England tour and the T20 World Cup 2024. Reports suggest that despite being aware of the situation, team management did not take action against Afridi, raising concerns about discipline within the team

Shaheen Afridi's behavior included a verbal altercation with batting coach Mohammad Yousuf during the England tour. Although he apologized in front of the team, the incident has led to an ongoing PCB investigation  This controversy, combined with previous issues related to his injury management, has led to widespread criticism of the PCB's handling of the situation
